About this piece
A slouchy open-lattice hat that starts green at the crown and moves through yellow and red to a black band at the edge. Pairs of black beads hang from each point of the scalloped edge, with one striped bead in the flag colours at the front.
Wear it over braids or loose hair at a festival, a beach day or a Meskel gathering, where the beads swing as you move.
Fit
One size; the open mesh sits loosely on most heads.
Crocheted by hand by Selamawit in Bahir Dar, stitch by stitch, after you order. Choose your size, or Custom and send her your measurements; for other colours choose Custom colours and tell her in the wishes box.

Soft acrylic yarn
Care
Hand wash in cold water with a mild soap. Press the water out gently, never wring. Dry flat in the shade and reshape while damp. Do not hang, tumble dry or iron.
