The fine print
Timing
Most custom pieces take 4-6 weeks from payment. Bigger designs, and the busy weeks before Meskel, Timkat, Genna and wedding season, can take longer, so message early. If you have a fixed date, tell us at the start. We will tell you honestly whether we can make it.
Payment
Shop pieces in a custom size or colour are paid in full when you order. For a new design, Selamawit sends you a quote first, and work starts once you accept and pay. In Ethiopia you pay in birr by Telebirr or CBE Birr. In the USA and Europe you pay in dollars by card.
Changes
Once work has started we cannot change the design or refund a custom piece, unless it arrives damaged or not as ordered. Small changes, like a slightly longer sleeve, are usually fine if you ask in the first few days.
