Who we are
This shop belongs to Selamawit Zewdu, who makes crochet clothing by hand in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia. A partner in the USA helps with orders and shipping there; orders to Europe are shipped from Addis Ababa. When this policy says "we", it means the two of them.
What we collect
Your name, email, phone number and delivery address; what you ordered; and anything you send us, such as size and colour wishes, measurements or photos for a custom order. If you create an account, we keep your order history there. We do not see or store your card number: card payments are handled by Stripe, and birr payments by the payment service you choose.
Why we use it
To make your piece, deliver it, answer your messages and look after any return. If you sign up for our emails, we also send you news of new pieces; every email has a link to stop them.
Who else sees it
Only the people who need it to get your order to you: the delivery company sees your name, address and phone number, and the payment service sees what it needs to take the payment. We never sell or rent your details, and we do not use advertising trackers.
Cookies
The site uses only the cookies it needs to work: your basket, your language and your currency, and keeping you signed in.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as the law requires for accounts. Custom request messages and photos are deleted two years after your last order or message.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can stop our emails at any time. Send us a message through the contact page.
